University of Graz, Faculty for Educational Research and Teacher Training
The use of vignettes and anecdotes in school practice and teacher training is being researched at the University of Graz by members of the Empirical Educational Research Department at the Faculty for Educational Research and Teacher Training. The focus is on questions concerning the potential of vignettes and anecdotes for pedagogical professionalization, especially with regard to the reflection of teaching and learning experiences, the formation of a pedagogical ethos or research-based learning.
In the framework of the EU project ProLearning, Vasileios Symeonidis will work closely with the University of Western Macedonia in Greece to investigate the application of vignette and anecdotal research in primary education, develop relevant training modules and implement them in Greece and other project partner countries.
