Oriented towards the Phenomenon: Art Education 'Close to the Work' and Vignette Research. Potentials of Research on Aesthetic Education in Perceptual Access
By combining the perception-oriented art education concept 'Close to the Work' (A. Bube) with phenomenologically based vignette research, the project in cooperation with the University of Vienna (E. Agostini) is dedicated to the joint development of an innovative setting for professionalization in pedagogical education. On the one hand, vignettes will be used to address particular moments of experience in different situations in the museum and to illuminate the specificity of this situation for the individual person in the interaction with the artwork and/or the group. On the other hand, the use of vignettes as an educational medium is also being researched: 'Close to the Work' serves as a specific setting for differentiated perception training and for practicing the handling of openness, multi-perspectivity, awareness and attentiveness.
As part of the project, various surveys and workshops have already taken place under the title Vignette Research 'Close to the Work', e.g. at the Sprengel Museum Hannover in November 2018 and at the Albertina Museum in Vienna in November 2019, November 2021 & May 2022.
